Black Out Day 2020
We will not be silent, we will not be complicit!
Being apart of the African American community, as well as majority of our customers, we cannot stand by and be silent against racial injustices and inequality. We have to take a stand. In solidarity with today's #BlackoutTuesday efforts, we will not be conducting any business. We stand with you and will continue to support the community we are and love so much. Thank you again for your continued support.
Take time today to reflect on the strength of your voice and the value of your actions as we work together to bring about change. Instead of supporting us today, we encourage you to take an action towards change. So please sign petitions, donate and share information to help raise awareness. We've highlighted some of the causes we have supported below.
Jabril Edmondson and DeShun Gilchrist
Breonna Taylor was murdered as a result of a botched home raid that left her apartment bullet riddled. Her murderers have been placed on administrative reassignment but have still not been arrested. By signing the petition below you continue to push for her justice.
August 24th, 2019, 23-year-old Elijah McClain was walking home. The Aurora Police Department received a call of a "suspicious man". This call resulted in Aurora police pinning Elijah to the ground until he was unconscious. When the paramedics arrived they administered a dose of Ketamine to the already unconscious Elijah to "sedate" him. He was pronounced dead August 27th, 2019. As of today, Elijah has still not received justice. Please sign this petition to continue fighting for Elijah.
